AN AWARD-WINNING SISTERHOOD

Fort Bend Alumnae of ZTA has been recognized at the state-level as well as nationally for our outstanding service to the fraternity. Recent awards include: 

Alumnae Crown Chapter for Excellence (2019 2016 2014 2012 2010 2008 2006 2004 2002 2000 1998)  This award is given for attainment of the minimum standard of chapter excellence for each year of the biennium. Excellence in 5 areas: Activities, Finances, Fraternity Operations, Membership & Programming. The National Vice Presidents Alumnae recommend chapters to National Council, which selects the recipients.

State Silver Award

Membership Achievement Award (2016 2015 2013) This award is given when membership is increased by 10% or more.

 

Individual Members Awards

Honor Ring (Highest individual honor granted for alumnae who have rendered sustained and outstanding service to the Fraternity.  Before becoming eligible for consideration to receive the Honor Ring, an alumna must accumulate at least 20 points, of which 50 percent must be for service at the national level.)

Certificate of Merit Recipients (National award; members must have a minimum of seven years of significant post-collegiate service to Zeta Tau Alpha. National Council considers each recommendation and awards certificates to those who receive unanimous approval.)

Zeta Lady Award (Alumna who has been invaluable to her chapter and exemplifies what ZTA means to us all)

Lone Star Award (15 outstanding years of service to the Fraternity)

White Violets / Order of the Shield (50 years of Fraternity membership)
